Even though dear is quite tired recently, he still forked out time for me.
Thanks dear dear!
We met for lunch and movie!
Lunch at Manhanttan Fish Market (MFM)
Their service is really great! The staffs are extremely friendly and efficient.
We do not need to ask for sauces! They will walk around and check if there is anything that may be needed by the customers! So helpful of them!
As for the food, the portion is big, thus dear and I couldn't finish. Food wasted! ><
The food is ok only. I don't quite like the salmon though. The calamari is quite nice.
Movie - Suspect X
------------------------------------

Genius mathematician and high school teacher Tetsuya Ishigami (Shinichi Tsutsumi) has taken a fancy towards Hanaoka Yasuko, a lady working at a bento store. When he learns that Yasuko and her daughter have killed a person, he then helps the two of them to construct the perfect alibi. The police investigation runs into difficulty and Detective Kaoru Utsumi (Kou Shibasaki) seeks the advice of his friend, the brilliant physicist Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama). Ishigami is Yukawa's college friend. A fierce battle breaks out between the genius mathematician and genius physicist.
------------------------------------
The movie is great! Masaharu Fukuyama is handsome! ^^ I love it!
There is a twist to the storyline. "The beauty of this movie was the showcase of how some seemly unsolvable questions need to be looked at from a different non conventional perspective." (quoted from moviexclusive.com)
The 2 main characters - Physicist Manabu Yukawa and Genius mathematician and high school teacher Tetsuya Ishigami are brilliant and extremely intelligent!
However, there is a part where dear pointed out after the movie and I find it quite true too. How can the police assume that the hair found in the hotel belongs to first male victim? Didn't the police in Japan keep a record of all the Japan residents? Dear also then pointed out that it may be due to the huge population thus they may not have records of all.
Tsktsktsk... So what is what?
Also, the movie is quite gender stereotyping, which seems to have portrayed the Japanese. Detective Kaoru Utsumi, the only female detective in the team, is not being fairly treated. She was instructed to make coffee/tea and do some minor task.
Lesson learnt from the movie: Things may be simpler when you view it from different angles.Labels: feel loved, food, movie
