After 4 days of holiday, fun, laughter, gathering, I was extremely tired. I was so tired that I fell asleep immediately the moment I lied on my bed.

Today I’m back to work. It’s not a good start as I forgot to bring my pass and bottle, but hope it will be a great day ahead. Anyway I think I was feeling quite stressed last night as I had a dream. I dreamt of having a meeting with my supervisor regarding my project. After these 4 days of holiday, though I didn’t rest much, I must work hard on my project.

Let’s recap what I’ve been doing the past 4 days.

Day 1
Dear came over to greet Daddy and Mummy Chinese New Year. Afterwhich, we set off to Mah Mah’s and Ah Mah’s house respectively. It was a great family gathering.

After my side of visiting, it was my turn to greet dear’s parents and relatives. We went to his house.

After visting at his house, dear and I went for movie – Kung Fu Dunk

Day 2



Dear and I met at Compasspoint before we set off to my auntie’s house. We left soon after lunch for his auntie’s house.

This time, this side of his relatives are much more friendly, as compared to the side of relatives we visited on day 1. I felt much more at home.
Thereafter, jiejie, dear and I set off to Audrey’s house. I had steamboat for dinner. Fyi, I already had steamboat for 2 days, that was the 3rd day. We played cards and mahjong. I just learnt how to play mahjong on that day and I won a few buck! Hee.

Initially, I was supposed to go to my friend - Deuel’s house instead of Audrey’s house. Reason is that not many people are going.

Day 3
Dear came over to fetch me and we set off to his colleague’s house. His colleague’s children are really adorable and fun-loving!!! Esp the 2 younger ones – Baby and Glennis. Glennis is a pretty little girl while Baby is a cute and soft-spoken little girl. Dear and I love Baby more. They are very hospitable. They welcomed every guests at the door! So nice and sweet of them.

In the evening, we left and headed toward to Plaza Singapura to meet Dan, Lixian, Ken and Adeline and went to The Cathay for movie – Ah Long Pte Ltd.

"Ah Long Pte Ltd" is a light-hearted black comedy about the triad world and the money-lending business. Following the retirement of her triad leader (Richard Low), a young lady, Li Hua (Fann Wong), tries to restructure her money-lending triad into a professional and 'loving' triad that stands against the use of violence. She also suffers a nagging mother and gets involved in a romance with Mr Fang (Mark Lee), an effeminate dance instructor cum image stylist.

The movie is quite disappointing. It is not as good compared to the previous. I only give it 1 out of 5 popcorns. If not for the comedy part, it will be 0 out of 5.

After movie, we went for dinner at Ajisen.


We sent Lixian home and went to Clarke Quay. We settled down at Highlander for drink and chat. It is a nice place to chill-out with nice music. After that, we went to MOS.




At MOS, it was a super boring night! Smoove is packed. Trance is lousy. The moment I stepped into trance, I started to yawn. I guess trance music will be my new lullaby song. I wondered why MOS don't want to move smoove to main arena permanently?! I think it'll attract a bigger crowd. Anyway I realised that dear is good. He cab dance in trance, r&b and even retro! But one problem is that he can't dance with me. I would say that our dance style are different. He can definitely dance well with Dan! They have the same style and feel.

One more things to add is that dear always like to order everything beyond limit. Things such as food and liquor. Everytime I've to "force" it down my throat! I hate it when he does that. For food, I'm still fine with it. But definitely not for liquor, because I know that he and friends surely want to finish it!!! Hai. In the end, you will see that they are drunk!

We went home around 4.30 and reached home at 5+.

Day 4
I slept till 12noon. I was already very exhausted. Dear came over to my house. Mummy, bro, sis and us went off at around 4 for movie – CJ 7 at AMK Hub. We then had dinner at Genki Sushi.

CJ 7 is worthed watching! It has a great and touching storyline. Tears flooded our eyes at the part when Xiao cried over his father’s death. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 popcorns!

During this Chinese New Year season, I have watched all the 3 popular movies – Kung Fu Dunk, Ah Long Pte Ltd and CJ 7. I think CJ 7 is the best of all. Kung Fu Dunk is the 2nd and Ah Long Pte Ltd is the worst!
