News Highlight

There will be 16 more gantries coming up!
Oh my god! Having a car is even more costly than buying a car! It is true that building up gantries is one way of addressing to the traffic congestion problem. In addition to that, I personally think that the fee of public transportation should reduce instead of keep increasing. Reducing the fee of public transportation will be a pull factor for people to go for public transportation. There is always a pull and push factor. With only one push factor – increase of gantries & ERP charges, it may not be able to address the problem effectively.

Increase in ERP charges and increase in public transportation fee will result in quite a constant difference in cost. Furthermore, there will be surely be people who still want to drive. Thus, with almost the same number of people who still want to drive and with the increase in frequency of bus services – implying more buses on the road, there will still be traffic congestion. Worse, there will be human congestion too!

I guess next time people have to ride bicycle to work! Haha.

After work, I went to visit my grandma. Her leg hurts. Doctor said that she has this thing called "骨刺" inside her thigh. It hurts her badly. Now she can't really walk as it hurts even more when she walks. Hai. I hope grandma's leg will recover soon. Seeing her in such condition hurts me too.

God bless her.
