goodbye to year 2007 and a big and warm hello to YEAR 2008!

let's summarise year 2007,
it was a hectic year. During the first half, I was busy with all my projects. And in the second half, there were a few ups and downs along the way, be it with friends or dear. That's history. Overall, I know that I have worked hard.

So for this brand new year 2008,
I'm going to work even harder for better grades and fulfil all my resolutions. :)

Once again, dear and I have entered a brand new year together! :)
010108 not only marks my birthday, the start of a new year, but also our 1+ 3 anniversary.

I had a great ending for year 2007 and a fabulous start for year 2008!

31 Dec,
I went for my dental appointment in the morning, afterwhich, I went home to doll up for my date. Dear drove. He met Kenneth before fetching me. We headed to Marina Square to meet up with my few girls - Yun, Min & Bao. Before meeting the girls, we went to Zara to shop. I tried on a nice silk dress. I could still remember dear's look when he first sees me in the dress outside the fitting room. He said that I look beautiful in that dress. Even though he kept emphasizing that I look great in it, I didn't get it, because I'm afraid that I won't have many chances to wear it, so don't want to waste the money. I shouldn't break my resolution at the very start right? Haha.

We waited in the Q for a while before we were able to settle down for our dinner. We got the 138++ package and in the end, we couldn't finish the corn muffins and the snapples!!! Oh gosh! We shouldn't waste food, so we takeaway. Haha. We have a car anyway. ;P

We left Marina Square and went to Mt Faber with Bao to join her group of friends. It wasn't crowded there and the mood of countdown wasn't high. 1 sad thing is that I couldn't catch a close-up firework this year! :( It's my fault for suggesting to join Bao. Lesson learnt.

However, I'm super happy that they sang birthday song aloud for me at Mt Faber!!! So sweet of them! I was shy and blushed. A group of passerbys even wished me Happy Birthday! SO NICE!

We went the place at around 2, sent Ken and headed back home. Before going home, dear drove me to a dark place along the road and asked me to wait in the car. He covered my eyes and walked me to the car's boot. To my delight, I opened my eyes to see the birthday decoration that dear have made just for me! So lovely!

We had a triple date! We met up with Kenneth and gf, and Danny and gf. We watched AVP 2: Alien Vs Predator 2 at Cineleisure. Afterwhich, we parted for our individual dinner. Dear and I made a reservation at Triple 3 at Meritus Mandarin Hotel. Dear only gave it a 5 out 10 for overall. For their food, 3 out 10 and for their service, 8 out 10. I personally like their desserts. Hee.

Dear and their staffs gave me a big surprise! One of the waiters came with a cake and 3 performancers played guitar and sang birthday song for me! After the birthday song, dear dedicated the song - More Than Words for me. I was feeling so shy and blushed. So sweet~! Thanks dear! I simply love you! *muacks*

After dinner, we met the other 2 couples and went to Swensens for ice-cream. I had my 3rd birthday song aka the 2nd birthday song of the day. Hee. I even received a pink balloon from Swensens! Haha. I felt like I'm a kid again~




2nd Jan,
Dear drove me to fetch mummy and grandma. We went to Toa Payoh Yum Cha for breakfast. I got an hongbao from grandma for birthday. Thanks Mah Mah! Hee. It's great to have such outing with my love ones. I love to have more of it!



To summarise, I definitely have a fabulous and memorable birthday! It will stay in my heart always. :)
I thanks all those who have wished me Happy Birthday and...
of course not forgetting to thanks Bao, Min, Yun, Ken and Rach for the presents and their presence,
Mummy and Mah Mah for the hongbaos,
last but not least, dear for the present, dinner and most importantly the surprises!
