Was discussing this topic in campus today during our 1 hr break: "How do you define success?" My definition of success is to fulfil what I desire and what I really desire are financial freedom and family bonding. Why financial freedom? From all the incidents that have happened these few years and from what I heard from different people's experience, I realised that monetary issue is always one of the factors that causes an argument/quarrel/unhappiness to take place. In extreme cases, it can even cause family breakup/divorce. After chatting with JH, I found out that he is a nice guy, a great friend to be with. He is a helpful person. His definition of success is to live in abundance in everything and be able to help oneself and others, inclusive of a stranger. We also talked about placebo, something to do with the way we think. He told me that our brain is divided into 2 parts: the conscious and the subconscious part. Subconscious part contains things such as our habits. When we do a thing repeatedly, it will become a habit and we will tend to do it unknowingly. If we tell ourselves that we can do it, our subconscious mind will register it and do things that we want to fulfil and vice versa. In another word, our thinking/mindset do affect the way we do things and the outcome of it. I found all that he has said are interesting and shall find one day to borrow his books and read up. I guess that I can only do this after my exams. Exams are just one month & one week away. I must jiayou! I must believe that I can do it and I will do it!!! Jiayou Jiayou Jiayou!!!
Anyway @ times, I'm losing my concentration...I guess that I'm missing my dear dear...
