on 1st jan, my bdae, shan organised a little gathering for me. it is really a little gathering, only shan, cindy and min turned up. i appreciated those who came. hui called me to wish me happy bdae, so swt of her. we went to marine square to shop! so cool! we went in to almost all the shops to try shoes, clothes, makeups and stuffs! so happy! hee... shopping is my favourite! i guess some shopowners hate seeing us there, trying their things and end up not buying anything. haha but who cares right? shops are opened for us shoppers! they will be gone w/o us, can't live w/o us! hee. ;D. then we went to lergThai to have our dinner. we ordered 4 dishes: spicy fish, kangkong(my fav), tofu and softshell crab(2 thumbs up...delicious) and 5 plates of rice, though only 4 of us. we are "fan-tong". haha. the feeling of having dinner together was different. i must say that it is wonderful! so heartwarming, so cozy, so nice~ this is the first time we are having this kind of feeling. normally we go out in big group so we will always order 1 to 1, everyone will eat their own meal. unlike this, we were sharing the 4 dishes and 5 plates of rice! the feeling is like one small family having dinner together. i really like the feeling a lot. thanks girls!

on the 2nd jan, my uni friends organised a little celebration for me too. wil, xt and jy turned up. we were supposed to have lunch at breko at wisma. guess what?! there isn't a restaurant breko at wisma. lol. i guess wil has not been down town for quite a long time. hee. so we went to wheellock place and settled down in bigO. bigO is a western restaurant, looks like nydc. my first time there and so i decided to try their fish and chips (as usual). jy ordered a mushroom chicken pie, if i'm not, while wil and xt ordered a set meal for 2. one thing i must say the fish and chips isn't good, in another word, not nice. i guess i won't go back for their fish and chips. there was a little surprise for me. a waiter arrived w a small heart-shaped chocolate cake w a little red lighted candle. so nice of them. hee. i was quite worried that it will be another "cake session", so i was fast enough to remove the candle first! hee... and we shared the little cake. it is creamy, melt in the mouth easily, nice! thanks guys! they bought me a present too. guess what? it is a perrie cardin lady wallet, the wallet that i wanted!! they can read my mind? lol. nope. i guess they just happened to think that suits me and so got that for me. luckily they didn't got me a red long wallet and a sharp-pointed comb as a "free gift". lol. after the lunch, we went off to shop again. went in to crumpled shop and i became flicked minded again. i don't know shd i get one for myself. it is a price vs want decision. *pondering* guess i will persuade mum to get one for me. hee.
